5k finished in exactly 35 minutes! Ran with my amazing support group of friends, coworkers and my youngest daughter. They made us awesome shirts that said , "Are those New Glasses?" I told them when I had the surgery that comments about my weight would make me uncomfortable. They were only allowed to ask me if I got new glasses or a new haircut. I love these guys.

How exciting it is to hear someone so enthusiastic about doing their first 5 k. Finishing your 5 k in 35 minutes surely isn't shabby. Congrats . Sounds as though u have a wonderful support system.
