Just know it will likely hurt if you injest carbonation. I was told to wait until I was two months out from surgery to even try it. I do now, on occasion, have a carbonated beverage with no discomfort. I just really try to not let it become a habit again.

Don't do it,, there are severe consequences. Even two years I willn't touch a soda,, it makes me have a terrible pain in my chest. They have some sugar free popsicles that are great. Good Luck!

I was told NO pop ever again, the carbonation WILL stretch the sleeve, why risk it?
