Protein question

I am 4 1/2 weeks out, down 40 pounds and have a protein question. I am still on soft food and nutritionist said as long as I can mash it in my mouth, I can eat it. I had a piece of veggie burger yesterday and Turku burger today. Could not finish my serving either time and I had to stop and walk around to get burps out. I am thinking they were too dry? Anyone have this happen?

  • Veggie Burger certainly not a soft food .. Your body is telling u it is not ready for that. I had to stay on soft foods longer till my body was able to handle something like a veggie or tofu burger.

I tried to advance my diet too quickly b/c I was tolerating softs so well... I wasn't ready either. I am going to continue on a soft diet until I can't stand it anymore.
