New to the app!

Hi, my name is Beth and I am 30years old, married to an amazing man and have 2 beautiful little girls. I have always been overweight and have tried every diet out there. In 2011 I lost 110lbs but have gained about 75lbs back since the birth of my second daughter in February 2013. I made the decision to have the bypass in September 2013 and between being diagnosed with hypothyroidism, pcos and trying to get all the medications regulated it has been more than difficult to lose the pre-surgery weight. I've finally got be my thyroid leveled and the pcos under control and have managed to lose 10 of the 16lbs I need to lose in order to be scheduled for my surgery. I am nervous and excited about this chapter in my life but know it will only help me be the best person I can be for my family!

Hi Beth! Congrats on your decision to have WLS. I wish you all the best with your journey!

Hi Beth, I too had to deal with pcos and hypothyrhoidism while trying to lose the pre surgery weight. I was started on the presurgery protien diet a little early, and that helped the weight come off. Maybe it would help you as well. Best of luck!
