What happened to my post?

I must have made some mistake when I posted it.

Well, let'sum up what I wrote:

I need to write a food diary every day, a diary which other bandsters can read a comment on.

I'd also like to read other people's diaries and comment on them, too.

The food diary is an important tool in our journey, but travelling with friends make it shorter and lighter.

What is your experiece, where and how do you share what you eat day by day?

A lot of us use myfitnesspal. My username here is the same there and there are a number of other threads here for mfp and other peoples usernames.

There's an app for your phone to where you can scan in barcodes. They have a lot of restaurants meals out there already. It's pretty easy to use.

You can change your settings to change the name of your meals (I added in more Snacks and timeframes). You can change who can see your diary. If you make it visible, people can comment on your post when you're done with your meal for the day.

Yes, I love My Fitness Pal. It allows you to really confront what you're eating. I'd you want to use it just to track protein, that's great. I have become a little obsessed with calories because I really believe the calories in/ calories out rule. It's fun to see what other people are eating. If you make an account, my user name is lleepers (2 lower case L's).

KimK, can I friend you on MFP? I need more WLS buddies on there. :)

Of course :)

Oh yeah - Rossetta you can also track your fitness. Either enter what you do manually (elliptical for 30 mins) and/or sync some of the various fitness devices/apps to it. I have the fitbit and synced that. I think it also syncs to mapmyrun/mapmywalk etc. plus certain scales. Pretty cool site.

Me, too! I am dublinsabina on My Fitness Pal. Friend me! Great way to track everything. I use it mostly for exercise but sometimes for the food diary. There is a setting for sharing the food diary with others if you like.

Whoops -- I am sabinadublin not dublinsabina. Would have made a terrible spy if multiple aliases were needed. So, find me on My Fitness Pal: sabinadublin

Bandista, I quoted you in another thread asking if you were still doing MFP. I'm gonna friend you too.
