March 2014 Bandsters - Let's Do This!

Any March 2014 Bandsters out there? My date is March 3. I've been trying out different Protein powder mixes and I got my Magic Bullet blender ready for action. Other than that, just counting down. I hope there are others getting banded on my same timeline... are you as nervous as I am?

Congratulations!!!

Day 2 of the pre-op diet was not great, but I made it through. 12 days to go.

Tomorrow March 5th is surgery!!!!

Thank you. I was encouraged to step on the scale and see I'm 6 lbs lighter than I was Sunday night!! Of course Sunday night I had just eaten my last meal. Lol

Good luck to you both on your surgeries tomorrow and Thursday.

I had my surgery yesterday. It went good. I'm really sore and not to much gas. Good luck everyone! I lost 10 lbs on my preoperative diet.

Went to GNC today to start my stash! They let me taste the GNC banana cream shake, it tastes GREAT!! They also have a special buy one get one half off. I bought the vanilla and banana cream. I'll prob blend a vanilla (it was kinda sweet) and a Greek yougurt for a high protein smoothie..(when I'm at that stage) . The shakes have 25grams of protein, 2 grams of sugar and 3 grams of fiber, 6 carbs and 170 cal. Just thought I'd share. I know everyone is always looking for protein options that are tasty.

Just left my preop appt with surgeon, Sugar buster pre-op diet starts today!!!
