Wednesday! Thats not too far off...you can do it!!

I start my pre-op diet soon and I feel like I'm starting to panic already. I don't feel like there is any way I can only eat what they want me to for 2 weeks! My husband said "you won't be able to eat a lot after surgery anyway" and I said "I know but my stomach is still regular size right now!!"

Relax everyone, we all did it prior to surgery. Distant memory now. Just a few days out of your old life, so you should try to distract yourselves. I recommend crockpot cooking if you have a family to feed, because you are not in the kitchen prepping food and cooking. Your life is changing forever with this surgery. so this is just the first step for you pre-ops. I think if everyone takes their mind off food it would really help. Seems like we all are guilty of that, focusing our lives on food, me included. the sleeve has cured that obsession LOL!! I am so thankful...... So happy.....

Im now on my 4th pre-op day and doing just fine...I have 4 protein drinks and then just drink as much water or decaf tea as I want. Day 2 was the hardest for me, but yesterday went great! Im down 10 pounds already since Saturday...man my liver must be lovin me!

Day 3 for me. Everything is pissing me off. Reminding myself that surgery is Monday. I've heard of ppl having a month long liquid diet (insanity). It could always be worse. Keep it up chick!

I'm on day 3 of pre-op and not hungry. At all. I think it's Bc I'm getting 80-100 grams of protein a day and under 25g carbs.

Im finding it much easier as the days go by....Thank Freakin God!!!!

I have definitely found it gets easier the further down the road you are. Good luck!

So I'm on day 10 and I'm still miserable. It's all head hunger and I'm so mad I can't seem to get over it. I'm also just plain pissy and short tempered on general. I am also freaking out because my baby has a serious cold and I'm scared to death I'm going to get sick and they will cancel my surgery

I hope you stay well! Do your best not to add extra stress. If anyone can help care for your baby take the help. Good luck!

Stir fried veggies in satay sauce is healthy & satisfying!!

I was starving to pre op

Now post op I'm not hungry at all & I'm back on solid food 10 days after op!!

& 10kg lighter!
