Well I made it through the 6 months of Dr. visits and Dietitian appts. .......and all the test the Bariatric Clinic wanted. ..Met all the insurance requirements

Bariatrics team has givin me the ok for surgery now we wait for the final approval from insurance .............. I am so ready ......They have me on a 1000 calorie diet .....not going to be hard I already been doing it . One day at a time......

I was told 6-8 weeks also, only took about 10 days. I guess it depends on your ins. I went through cigna.

I have medicare......10 days would be awesome !!!! Been worried about this protein shake thing couldn't find one I like received the Unjury sample pack and I can handle the chocolate one ya!! so hopefully I will like the others and the chicken soup...

I haven't tried any shakes, got a few free samples. I'm waiting until after surgery, a lot of ppl including my nut. And dr, said taste buds will change. Didn't wanna spend money and not like them.

Froggy, like Blue, I went through Cigna. I am doing absolutely great which still feels strange to say it. It has been 3 weeks today and the difference in my life is remarkable already! Thank you. IF you have to wait 6wks, just utilize the information you were given going through the process and get your life prepared for a life changing blessing! keep us posted!¡
