Need a good iron supplement

I cannot stomach multivitamins with iron in them. However my doc wants me to try a separate iron supplement. Is anyone taking one that is not completely disgusting?

I take a chewable iron supp that tastes much better than I expected. From Nature's Plus - seems to do the trick.20120713_146.jpg

I take Wellesse liquid iron. It tastes like grape juice and the iron is more bioavailable when in liquid form.

I take Virtron C, but take it at night, it tends not to bother me if I take it before bed.

I was prescribed to take ferrous sulfate, some high doses 2x per day because I was not taking my supplements like I should have. Okay, bad me... that said no matter what it is be sure to take it.

I tried all of them, the chewable, liquid - but I never liked any of them. Come to find out simply taking them is more important, at least it was in my case. But of all the evils I liked the chewable the best that CGDR suggested above.

I take Palafer. Every night I take a capsule with orange juice....It helps it work better if you drink orange juice with it....

Had my check up on Monday and all Vitamins and minerals on target.....After the loss of everything when I was in the hospital..This was very good news for me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I take the Iron +C chewable from CelebrateVitamins.com, the grape flavor, and I actually like it. Out of the whole fistfull of Vitamins and other supplements I take each day, it is one of the 2 that I actually look forward to because of the taste. (The other is the Calcium soft chews from the same company, 250 mg each, the carmel flavor.)

I take Fusion. I believe it is only with prescription but it does not have a taste (it's a capsule) and my doctor prescribed it to me. It's been sitting very well with me.
