Hi There!

I have sort of been lurking the board and thought I would say hi. I am 27 and work at a hospital. I will be having Gastric Bypass sometime this summer (Trying to save up vacation time) and have started the process. My insurance (bcbs) does not require any sort of diets so I am starting to schedule all of my appt. I am going to a pulmonogist,cardiologist and will be having a visit with the suregon soon. Dr. Gerald Cahill in Evergreen Park will be doing my surgery. I just wanted to say hi to everyone!!!

I'll be having my ekg and blood work on the 4th and my surgery is on the 25th of this month, I'm a little nervous but mostly excited to start my new life. Are you by chance from Illinois? I only ask because I'm almost positive we have an Evergreen Park here. Anyways if you have any questions just ask there's a bunch of nice people here willing to help. :-)

That is great,I wish you lots of luck. I will be having surgery with Dr.Cahill. I am kinda fresh in the process and won't be having surgery til this summer (trying to get as much sick leave as possible).

I Wish you luck as well. You won't believe how fast the time goes, it'll be summer before you know it. I started this whole process last April and have no clue where the time has gone. If you have any questions let me know and I'll help you out as much as I can. :-)
