Here's something I hadn't considered

Soup. Not broth, not creamed Soups, but chicken and vegetable soup. I had some wonderful soup with ground chicken and tarragon, spinach, carrots and mushrooms. It was delicious, and the chunky bits went down very easily, but eating the broth too was a challenge. I know we are not supposed to drink and eat at the same time, but is there ever a point when I will be able to eat soup comfortably? I am 3 weeks out.

Thanks!

Amy

I have milk on my cereal and drink it at the same time...Otherwise I would not get the protein I need...I don't do it any other time of the day...But we all eat soup and not think about the juice...K

  • My plan allows zero soup (with chunks) ever because of the "no drinking while you eat" rule. We were allowed cream type soups at the full liquid stage but that's it.

  • I eat soup often. My NUT never said it's taboo. I'm 4 mos out and honestly the only issue I have is not being able to finish all of the broth but I can live with that.
