Ursodiol ?

Anyone else have to take Ursodiol 300mg capsules twice a day? I'm almost 4 weeks post op and got prescribed these pills 2 weeks post op. Dr. said they help produce bile so I won't get gallstones.

I am on Ursodiol 250mg tablets once a day. I was sent home with this prescription. I was told that it will help prevent gallstones as well during rapid weight loss.

I was put on 300mg twice a day at my 1 month checkup. Script was written for 5 months. My surgeon says by then sleevers are past the danger of getting gallstones.

That's about the time I got them and had to take them for 4 months for that reason. Dosage was different I think.

I was prescribed the same thing and I have to take it for 6 months.

Yup, 300mg twice a day for six months....I am on my last refill and crossing my fingers that no gallbladder issues arise, so far so good.

I'm on 500 mg once a day, I have to break the tablet in half and take 30 minutes apart.
