Incision pain

I am 11 days post op. My larger incision has been a little sore since surgery, but...startng yesterday it has been hurting worse with more movement. With some movements it feels like its being pulled on and it hurts. I have a high pain tolerance and it brought me to tears earlier.

I also have a pea size bump under the incision...a little redness around it, but nothing alarming. I sent a picture to my nurse, she said it looked fine but I seriously have never had an incision feel like this. If I am sitting or laing down, it's fine.

Any ideas?

I did put my belly band on to try to support my stomach more.

Is it hot to the touch? If it's that tender I'd diffidently call your doctors office and just ask. Does not hurt to ask. If you cant get an appointment soon I'd look into going to an urgent care place. Im very scared of infections.

Mine was the same. It seemed like it hurt more as it was healing. It felt like one hell of a pulled muscle until 4 or 5 weeks. My skin was also a little red and risen at the scar. I'm 13 weeks out now and the scar is now plush to my skin and getting lighter.

Mine looks great. I'm also feeling soreness around it as it heals. I was told not to worry if it doesn't look infected red or hot or with puss.
