I never felt that "full" feeling either but I also didn't really feel hungry. My doctor had me only eating 4 oz of food (liquids included other than water) per meal. Make sure that you are not eating

Today makes two weeks since surgery. I was told that after a few bites of soup and sips of water I would feel so full I would feel like I was going to pop. I have yet to feel that feeling. I'm still on the liquid phase until I go to the doctor tomorrow (hopefully). I can get down 1/2 a can of cream soup and stop because I think I should, not necessarily because I feel full. Is this because it's just liquids?
