I was very blessed to have had a pretty easy recovery. I live alone and had no problem being alone after surgery. Friends called to check in, which was very nice. I had my recliner and all my supplies ready, so I was good to go! -

In one day, out the next. Minimal pain. A bit of advice...it may be kinda hard to get in and out of bed, so a recliner is perfect!

I'm 11 months out and just like you ladies....smooth recovery, no problem at all with any foods, able to drink any amount. I never have felt full. I consider all of this a mixed blessing. Im now sliding back into bad habits and have started gaining again. Very disappointed in myself! -

Surgery Date 8/1 Class on 8/22?

I work a desk job during the day and at a hair salon at nite and on the weekends (always on my feet). Took a week and a half off, then was back to work at both jobs with no problem. Im guessing ur surgery will be more complicated since its a revision, but it should be doable. Everyone recovers at a different pace, but u should be feeling pretty good by then. What protein supplements are you taking?

Premier protein from costco gives you the most protein for the least calories/money. Chocolate, vanilla and strawberry with 30 grams of protein each. GNC shakes taste better, but only have 25 grams of protein. -

I take Bariatric Fusion chewables. They come in 5-6 flavors and taste ok. 4 tablets a day cost $30 a month. Its all my doc offers, so I'm not sure how the price compares to the others. Best thing is that they contain everything I need, no other pills are needed. -
Anyone feeling weak when working out while on the liquid diet?

I'm ten months post op, but just did a couple of days of just protein shakes. It definitely affected my energy level and workout. Don't be too hard on urself, just do what you can. Good luck and God bless! -

I'm nine months out and have never felt restriction, never feel full. No dumping. I've recently gained 10 pounds by going back to my old habits. Who the heck gains in the first year?!?! Starting the five day pouch today in an effort to get back on track. Good luck ladies!2 -
