Sleeved on the 17

I feel so much better. Thanks to everyone that supported me this weekend. I know I sounded like a Debbie Downer but I was in sooo much pain. I just didn't imagine the pain to feel that intense. I prayed last night and with patience. I woke feeling so much better. Thanks to everyone that understood and listen And gave advise. I love the forum.

I understand your pain! I was sleeved on the 20th. I wasn't expecting to be in so much pain. I've had a c-section and a hysterectomy, but the sleeve hurt the worse. When I awoke from surgery, they asked me my pain level and I replied 10! And then I was so nauseated, I couldn't tolerate liquids and had to stay an extra day in the hospital. It was rough. I'm on day 3 now and reading these boards helps me because I know I'm not alone

Me too! I also was sleeved 12/17/13. Went home next day. First 2 days were very rough, but now I'm much better. I don't take pain killers anymore. However, Gas pain in my chest and left shoulder is still bothers me a lot. Also, I can't sleep at night. I have no problems falling asleep but after 2 hrs wake up and can't go back to sleep for 2-3 hrs. I'm still experiencing some discomfort at incisional sides, but it's not real pain. Last I was able to sleep on my side. I realized that if I put a pillow between my knees it release some pressure form abdominal wall. It's so much better compairing to first few days after the surgery!!!!!

I was sleeved on the 20th too at Duke regional...Im more alert and active today..when I first got home yesterday I was good for nothing..but I haven't taken any pain meds since so I been awake for most of the day..but still ..doesn't seem like there's enough time in a day to get all these liquids in...
