Nausea & Vomiting 2 Weeks Post Op

Hi everyone,

So I'm 2 weeks & 3 days post op & today for some weird reason I started feeling nauseous & vomited a few times.. Even sipping Water makes me feel ill.. Has this happened to anyone else this far out? I haven't eaten anything different & it's just come on all of a sudden.. I can't even swallow pills .. And I haven't over-eaten at all.. Please help.

I'd call the doctor and ask him about it. I hope you feel better soon.

  • Starting up, outa the blue? You might have a "bug", but if not, this is not "regular" with the sleeve! Call your MD team! Dehydration is BAD!

If I were in your shoes, I would call the office just to ease my mind....I hate being nauseous and throwing up when it's unnecessary. :)

I had bad nausea in week 3. Called the dr and his nurse pit me on regular Gatorade, and ginger ale. I was worried I was going to get dehydrated. This is pretty common I'm told. The nausea came back in week 6, and I had stopped protonix, so I started taking it again and doing better. If they don't refill my prescription, I'll just get over the counter... I'm convinced it is the stomach acid.
