I met with my doc and had the info session last week. We scheduled my appointment with the surgeon for Feb 4th. I will finish my required 3 month diet and behavior modification program the end of January. After the appointment on the 4th they willsubmit for insurance and I hope to be under the knife on Feb. 20th. Can't wait

I used Muscle Milk powder in the blender with ice and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. Yum yum! Sometimes I added a scoop of peanut butter. I enjoyed it.

I know the preop diet is a pain. My one big piece of advice is do it. I truthfully didn't stick to mine and the adjustment to NO food and NO choice about it is very hard. If I had followed the preop diet better, this hurdle would be partially jumped over.

Hey February guys, surgery 2-4, today had post-op MD visit and all is well, Normal sore throat, normal left abd pain, normal weakness and fatigue. Staples look good, come out next week. Advanced me from full liquids to mushy pureed foods including cheese!! Had refried beans and cheese for lunch, trying for turkey chili for dinners (pureed),

shmily, I drink Premier Protein. I love the taste.

Down to counting hours to surgery, less than 36 hours to go.

Just checked e-mail Pam got her date for her RNY...3/28. I am so excited for her. I will be 6 weeks post-op. She will know exactly what to expect.

I really hope tomorrow is better. Today was really hard. On the upside I'm down 7 lbs since Thursday yay!!

But dang it I'm still wanting avocado. Maybe once the puréed stage comes it won't be as bad

All I can think of now is avocado!

Hello ,ihope every one surgery goes well.I pray that you keep up with your new eating and drinking requirements because they are so important to make the surgery work and to keep you healthy.

I started in October. All completed, tests and classes last week, Tricare approved right away and I am scheduled for Feb 26

We started in March of '13 and it has taken until now to jump thru all the hoops for insurance. I will let you know what goes on as I start this new lifestyle.

Nnegrete329, you can have the avocado, you just need to mix it with a lot of water and drink it. Or, you can tell yourself that just waiting a week or so and you can mash up an entire avocado and eat it over four me a ls.
