I get my first fill in a few hours but why am I nervous? I guess I really don't know what to expect. Oh well.

Hi Bickie, I'm going on Wednesday. Let me know how it goes for you! Am definitely feeling more nibbly and hungry sooner.....will be good to nip that in the bud. I'm not sure what the post-fill protocol will be. Assuming a few days of liquids but not sure. In any case it will be good to get a little jump start for losing again. Good luck to you today!

You will feel absoultely Nothing. it's over rated in the discomfort department. For me I didn't feel anything different until close to my third fill, of course this depends on size of the band. Mine is Allegran 14 cc size.

My doctor did want me to stay on liquids for the rest of the day, then next day pick up what stage you are on.

Ok just got my first fill. 5cc in my size 11 band. Sitting here at the dr. office sipping my water. Dr. numbed the port area then filled me. Non pain just a little pinch. I am now on liquids for 24 hrs. Then mushies for a day then solids.
