You are really close to me. Good luck on your surgery, I can't wait to get my surgery date.

Talk soon.

I know! I drive through GC all the time on my way to visit my sister in St. Augustine :-)

I was 9/23 so a week and a day ago!!

I'm doing much better. More protein and liquids every day!! Had first follow up post up with dr and I've lost 28 lbs since my last appt before surgery which was a week before surgery. I can start going to the gym and swimming so I may hit the treadmill tomorrow.

can you get stomach cancer from the sleeve surgery....please help me :( feeling on undecided

Your chance of getting cancer goes down dramatically after reaching a healthy weight so you are more likely to get cancer without surgery.

Morbidly obese people have a 62% higher chance of dying from cancer than those at a healthy weight.
