Hi, any sleevers from Florida? What to expect from this procedures?

Thanks for replying. I actually was approved for my surgery 2 weeks ago and received my surgery date on Monday. My sleeve is scheduled for 10/13. I am also nervous, but I have no plans on backing out. I need to face this weight/food problem head on and get my weigh under control. I wonder do you have an Instagram account? I have joined the site and began to "follow" many people on the same wls journey. It is encouraging to see their photos and you also get alot of tips about food/vitamins/excercise. I try not to read any negative posts about the surgery because all that will do is scare me off. I have learned that everyone's journey is different, so I can feed in to the negativity. I'm from Green Cove Springs, Fl. A little town south of Jacksonville. I have decided to have the sleeve surgery. My surgery will probably be at the end of the year. I have over the years canceled two weight loss surgeries . I got scared and backed out, I'm going through with it this time.

Who is doing your surgery? I am in Jacksonville. Sleeved Nov. 2013. Husband sleeved Dec. 2013 and he is down 110 lbs. We have had smooth sailing and never a problem. It is the best decision we ever made in our life. Best wishes everyone!

Surgery is supposed to be scheduled for November 10th, however..the insurance company may take their sweet little time and my surgery could be the week of Thanksgiving...however...that doesn't bother me in the least...cause I'm gonna lose weight and be healthy...that' my motto What's a motta with you??

Anyone in my neck of the woods?? I think I saw Cape Coral up a ways....hello??

Dr Morganthal at Baptist downtown. I have United Health Care and they are requiring a 6 month reporting of my weight through my primary care.

I have a couple months left, I have completed all tests except for the endoscopy which I am having next week. . Can't wait until it's all done and I'm on my way to weight loss.

Dr Morganthal at Baptist downtown is doing my surgery. Can't wait! My ins co is United Health Care and they require my primary care to record my weight for 6 mos, I have a couple more months to go. Then they will send everything to ins co for approval! Seems like I have been doing this for a while. The waiting is nerve racking, I want it done now! I'm looking so forward to this , I already have my protein drinks and all my vitamins.

Cape Coral here. My surgery is Tuesday and Dr Sheih is doing the surgery.
