18 Month Follow Up

  • Popular Post

Hey my fellow sleeve victims.

I had my 18 month post op follow up visit today. Nothing unusual to report. Everything is fine. I've lost 83% of my excess body weight and gone from a BMI of 52 to 28. It's hard to believe I can it's been 18 months, time flies. But it's been a great time and the best decision I've ever made. This pic I think says it all.

Yes I was showing off the abs. I paid for them, I'm showing them off.

I'll bring the sugar free pudding pops and plates to the party. Who'll bring the napkins and cups?

Stop bragging about your great Texas weather, just got of the phone with my cousin. She was going on about being in a tank top, and not needing a jacket, blah, blah, blah. Lol. I can't wait until my wife and I move down south. Can't take the northeast winters anymore.

Really? I'm in the midwest and we've been singing Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald all day. I'd take the northeast today!

I think it's agreed then.., we all feel better, enjoy better health now and look better than before?

I declare us all at GOAL!!!!

Hey it's Alex's fault!! ***Laura runs to get a pitchfork to lead an uprising against the man*** This surgery was about getting healthy. I'm off my meds I'm not going to kill over from a heart attack anytime soon. Oh an I look damn good compared to last year... GOAL!! :D

Goal is where you are happy. Not your mate, friends or family members, but YOU. And it's definitely not decreed by a BMI chart! So, Laura-Ven, welcome to life at goal! I love it here. What are you giving yourself for reaching goal?

I can autograph it....but that costs extra.

Great work, my friend!

I like that chart, at 47 and 149 pounds it puts me at a "normal" weight.. A member here posted it and I actually saved it to keep me in check.. They had a men's version too, I wish I had saved that one also

I'm 49, 5'4@ and 151 at this time. Trying to get to 140. At 11 months out it's going really slow. It's rally hard.

I know! That's why this chart puts it in a much more realistic light..

I'm a year out, so I'd say you've done awesome :)

You look wonderful, Butter...congratulations! And thanks for the generous support you give to all the rest of us & for the reminders that you have to work for it. You make "workin' it" look great!!

I know. I have family who live in the Midwest. We're also dealing with heavy rain and winds. Best to you.

As for Butter, I was joking with him after speaking with my cousins in Florida, Texas, San Diego, and New Orleans about their respective great weather.

I drink those shakes whenever I am on the go. I really like the vanilla shake a lot.
