  • I was sleeved on Monday 11/4 and I feel like someone used my abdomen for a punching bag if I move the wrong way - be glad when this passes

I was pain free after 3 weeks

Depends on how you heal and how hard you push yourself. I felt pretty close to normal by about two weeks post op. The fatigue lasted until I could eat soft foods - the long liquid diet my surgeon requires was challenging for me. The most lingering pain for me was a dull ache on my side if I tried to side sleep - that lasted the longest. Maybe close to a month. Everything else healed up pretty quickly and nicely. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I felt normal again.

Congrats on that new sleeve!

Its been 2 weeks for me and I feel almost normal. I still got a little soreness but other than the fact I am tired all the time I am having no trouble getting around. I've been sleeping really well with out any meds also. So that's a plus lol.

I was sleeved Monday 11/4 and I feel pretty damn good. My incisions don't hurt. I just feel kind of 'wrong' inside, but it's not painful. I had a bad headache since the nite of surgery, but have felt pretty good since this morning. Especially after getting home and being in my own home.
