I'm 3 weeks post sleeve and have horrible constipation. I feared this. What to do?

You need to use miralax it's powder that you can add to your shake or the drink of your choice.

My misery loves your company! Ugh! I just took 2 Dulcolax. Here's to hoping for movement tomorrow.

Thanks for suggesting Miralax. I had no idea I could use dulcolax because I was told not to swallow anything larger than an aspirin.

I will try the Miralax for sure. Im afraid the Dulcolax might get stuck...I'm a wimp.

1 cup of very warm water with the juice of one lemon squeezed in, a little honey to sweeten. Do this first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Very effective and you can't become dependent upon it. I am a fan of miralax as well. Just saying, if you want natural the lemon juice/water is HIGHLY effective.

The Dulcolax tabs are tiny. And coated so they slid right down.

Thanks so much I really appreciate all your suggestions!

My surgeon said Milk of Magnesia too. I only needed it once but it only took an hour to get results and they were OK results- not painful or too much or prolonged, just right.

MOM is nice. It hasn't caused me any abdominal cramping like some laxatives do. Doesn't taste great, but the result is.
