Best blender?

K. I have the ninja. Doesn't seem to blend the ice more crush. Anyone have a good blender suggestion for really blending ice in a protein shake? I hate chunks!

I have a kitchenaid blender and it works fine as long as I don't put too much ice in. I only put 4 cubes in my shake with one scoop of protein powder and one cup of almond milk.

Take 1 cup of ice cubes and 2 cups of water (adjust this ratio as needed) and blend them. There will be enough water that the ice should blend easily, and you will end up with ice that is chopped very fine. After it is blended, pour out all (if you're adding another liquid such as almond milk) or most (if you're only blending with water) of the water, then add your protein powder and blend.

I have the ninja kitchen systems blends ice down to snow. I love it. Works great in the single serve or the 72 oz pitcher. Mine is the 1500 watt.
