I am one week and 4 days post op.. After my first time having sex I bled a little down there.. Has anyone else had this happen or do I need to call my doctor?!

Hello I am only 4 days post op but very tender it would be advisable just to check with your doctor but it seems as if you need a little more healing time .

The two systems are unrelated, if by 'down there' you mean the vagina? If so, likely more a cycle thing. If your surgical incisions started bleeding though, check in with your MD.

Your body is going through some extreme changes right now including hormonal from ehat my doc says. I have the merina iud and I spotted for a few days after surgery so im sure its just your body adjusting.

If it's your incisions call the doc. Otherwise it might be hormonal but still probably wouldn't hurt to make sure everything is ok...

Are you still on blood thinner injections? That could also cause a little vaginal bleeding after sex.

Teenee, I'm on the injections that are to reduce internal bleeding.

My guess is its just been a while, if it continues I would be concerned.
