Surgery accomplished Oct 16

Today begins the First day of a new journey to a healthier life. The surgery went well and the first night of post op was easier than anticipated. I woke this morning with some Gas pain and a little surgical discomfort, but, nothing out of the ordinary. Two weeks on the pre-surgery liquid diet dropped 16 lbs pre-surgery (amazing). I was able to take my dog for his morning walk, drink a warm tea and a Glucerna shake for breakfast ( type 2 diabetic). Feeling very satisfied. Good luck to all.
