What a wonderful feeling, you deserve it! (We all do.) I can't believe that I am eating probably 1/3 of what I used to and I'm satisfied!! Good luck and keep up the good work =)

So happy for you, Sarah -- that tuning in and the being able to listen and respond appropriately to signals are exactly what I'm looking for from my band relationship. I know it won't happen overnigh

Thank you! It's amazing how eye opening this whole process is. You will soon be there..less than one month!

I am two weeks post op today (yay!!) and I feel like finally, for the first time in my life, I am starting to get to know my body and listen to what it's telling me. I'm finally figuring out how to eat until I'm no longer hungry, not until I'm about to vomit from thinking I need to eat every morsel of food in front of me. I'm down 30lbs since I started the pre-op diet, which is just amazing. People I haven't seen much in the past 3 weeks have asked me if I'm ok because the amount of weight I've lost is noticeable in my face and stomach. Of course, they didn't know I had the Lap band done!
I feel like I'm in control of my body for the first time ever in my life, and I'm so happy with myself!
