Returning to work

Sorry if this has been asked in the past but how long did you stay off work?. I have a desk job. I was thinking about 12 days (which will include 2 weekends). When did you feel better and/or felt pretty good to return to work.

I just returned to after 10 business days off. I took a half day today. But besides being a little tired I'm okay! I also have a desk job.

  • Thanks for the reply ShineBright724!

I was off 3 weeks. I was tired when I went back but over all felt pretty good. 5 weeks before I felt completely normal. Good Luck.

I definitely still don't feel normal but I was going crazy sitting at home! I think I'll do some half days this week and full days next week.

Ok thanks. I will plan for 10 business days and have my 1st day of returning on a Tuesday.

Lol! I took 6 weeks off and I needed it. I was one of the unfortunate ones that had a lot of pain. Best Wishes!

I just took two weeks. Could have just taken one though.

Same here. One would have been good.

I started a new job one week post op. We had about a month of training days in a classroom. I had pain around my central incision but a little extra padding and that went away.
