Constipation

When does it end? I've taken two laxatives this morning one enema and it hasn't helped! Not to mention I take a stool softener everyday along with fiber pills. It's making me feel so weak and run down. I'm scared I'm gonna have to deal with this the rest if my life

How far out are you? It definitely gets better. You can always give your surgeon a call and see what they recommend.

I'm having problems with constipation also, I take milk of magnesia twice a week to keep things moving.

I'm 14 weeks, as of thursday.

Taking a probiotic once a day has helped me! There are articles on the web that support taking a probiotic for gastric bypass patients. There are even studies showing its help with vitamin b absorption... As with anything tho check with your doc!!

I have occasional problems but I keep stuff on hand. I take some Miralax every few days, and I keep suppositories on hand just in case.
