    My date is Jul 31st! I am very happy yet nervous because tomorrow will be my pre op appointment and if my liver continues inflamed I do not know what would happen.

    I saw my Dr yesterday. My liver is still inflamed. I have to get rid of 4 lbs by July 28th or else we have to delayy the surgery. I don't want this to happen. Since my last appointment 3 weeks ago I have lost 8 lbs. How can I loose 4 lbs in 10 days? Dr requires a liquid diet 3 days prior to surgery. I am thinking about doing it for at least 2 weeks.

    The first week on the liquid diet/protein shakes I usually lose 6-7 pounds....very low sodium so I dump some Fluid but very low calorie and high Protein so I lose fat too. Good luck!! You can do this!!!
