It sounds like I have the same type of guidelines that you have. I did not have a puree only stage either. I went from liquids/mush right to soft foods too. ... I've been 2 months out for about a week

Warm tea or coffee...completely dissolves (though its not BAD in cool liquids either). I have a 9 year old that tends to be constipated, we make hot tea and mix in the miralax and share a cup of 'poo

Yeah u will probably be totally fine! I'm at the point right now I don't wanna get sick but I'd take some diarrhea over all this constipation!!

Oh my gosh I know right?! I've never been constipated like this before! It's almost a relief when it is diarrhea! I tried a little salsa and it was fine! No issues so far! Yay!! Hope you feel better soon!

Me too! So uncomfortable most days because nothing is moving. Last week it took 2 days doses of 4 tsp of milk of magnesia to even get a little relief. This week trying miralax daily to see if it will help.

Muralax, it's expensive but a capful in every night in your favorite drink will help you to go regular

Thank you both! Picked up some of that miralax today at target, will try it!

I tried 2 chicken drum sticks buffalo style and I was ok with eating them and had no problem and I am about 3 1/2 weeks out. I also chewed the food until I was sure it would be ok before swallowing.

It works like a charm for me!!

I would give anything to be constipated: (

For the last six weeks I have had diarrhea every day 6-10 times per day. It hurts. It always feels like I've been punched in the stomach. It always takes 30_45 mins to go. My job is getting mad at me because I'm away from my desk so much and getting behind on my work because of it. They are threatening to fire me.

Omg! I hope that it gets better! I'm 9 days out and started diarrhea yesterday and it hasn't stopped yet! Ugh! Sooo frustrating! Can't imagine 6 weeks of it!!!! :( can we take anything for it?

My doc says no and is supposed to be sending me a list of Fiber foods that bind. Hope that works...

Oh no! That's terrible! Six weeks! An they are only going to send you fiber info to bind?? That seems like a long time to have that with pain, maybe you need a second opinion?? Hope it gets better. What about cheese? That always plugs me up! As far as your work, can you get a medical excuse and that way they can't take action due to laws against termination stemmed from illness??? Praying everything works out for you!

Can't you take kopectate? I'd be begging by now! Poor girl!!
