I just tried a quest protein bar. They are so sweet! Sugar is low so weird. I got diarrhea (tmi) 30 minutes later. I never liked candy bars so it makes sense these were too sweet for me. Too bad cuz I was hoping to have found an alternative to protein shakes

I found some Protein chips. They have 12 grams protein. It's not whey isolate, but its better than a normal snack.

Yummy! Where'd you find them? I would love to have something crunchy to dip in some dip.

I found them near the pharmacy on a Kerr Drug store.

I saw hummus chips the other day too. Have you tried them?

I had some today. Not much protein but it's healthier than chips and crackers. I saw the lentil kind as well.

Yea I saw those too. Tonight I'm going to make tortilla chips out of the Joseph's flax meal tortillas. Only 5 net carbs and 7 grams of protein. I'm going to have taco meat and cheese with them. Yum.

Taco meat and retried beans are my "go to" meal. I am at band camp this week and I am having to pack lunch. Hoping I can get all my protein in because I feel like weight loss has slowed down this week.

I have tried tacos or beans since surgery. I'm hoping everything turns out ok.

Great job

Hello everyone, today I'm 7 weeks out and still on all liquids...everytime I try to move on to regular foods I get stuck and have to go back to beginning steps so my pouch can rest from spitting up...Im wondering how long will it take my pouch to accept what has happened. Im able to tolerate pureed foods but as soon as I move on from this stage, here comes the stuck feeling, the spitting up, and the reset to liquids, if this continues, I will be making an appointment once again. Im ready to eat....
