My gallstone meds are HORRENDOUS! I have to cut open the pull and "take with food". Ruined my meal. :'(

Maybe mix it eith a half teaspoon of suga r free pudding instead

I did that. The metallic taste is over the top. I'm muddling through but I think Santana Claus is gonna owe me a really good present this year because I'm really trying to be good with my needs. Lol!

HELP!!!!! Since I woke up from surgery I have been itching uncontrollably...it hasn't been my incisions so much as all around & my upper thigh...@ first I though it was a reaction to coming off all the meds but it seems to be getting worse & I'm breaking out in these red blotches... The only time it subsides is if I take Benadryl but I can't take this forever!! Has anyone else had this issue? I placed a call in & waiting for a response but I'm one step away from googling & then there is no telling how freaked out I will get!! Please if anyone has any experience with this or advice I would greatly appreciate it!!

Morning everyone. Still sore from surgery #2 yesterday. My surgeon said it was one of the worst cases of scar tissue he's ever soon and I should immediately be better. Hard to tell right now, waiting on a repeat upper GI before I can drink or eat anything. Just on ice chips right now. Thanks for your prayers!

I was thinking about you last night. So glad to hear it went well! Take care.

Someone in my support group mixes chocolate protein powder with peanut butter and swears it tastes like a reeses...I'm not a chocolate fan so I haven't tried it. She only has it about once a week, I guess and it takes her days to eat it.

Thanks Hun! This surgery doesn't seem to have me down and out like the first one. Just sore.

On Wednesday I'll be 4 weeks post op. I had foot surgery two weeks after my bypass and had been doing well with it and walking well. Everything was going good with my bypass until I got a stricture 2 1/2 weeks out and had it dialated friday. Then yesterday i went to the gym' date=' had a good workout. When I got home and got out the car I fell and damaged my foot bad enough to need 6-12 more weeks off from work. And I have to say I have never been as fatigued as I am now on crutches. I have been on them before with no problem and I was much heavier than I am now. I don't want to leave the house at all... it has to be from the surgeries. Tomorrow I get to go get my esophagus dialated again.... I think I need to start this week over![/quote']

EGADS! Good luck!

Im a big Chocolate Muscle Milk Fan.

I am glad that my 3 wk stall is over I think I was getting really annoyed and realized how more important for me to keep as much protein as I could tomorrow I'm 4 wks post op and I hope this gets alil easier but yesterday I had a slice of pizza or really the top of the bread it was buffalo pizza it didn't have cheese well the sauce was blue cheese and lots of hot sauce and small pieces of chicken it was amazing I love hot sauce nd it didn't bother me so glad mayb bc I didn't have the bread .. Just want everyone to know how the stall is horrible but u will over come that part ..

I was told the itching is from all the gas they fill you with leaving your body. I was so itchy all over for the first couple of days. Warm shower helped a lot.

I got sick for the first time today. It was right when I woke up and I hadn't eaten or drank anything yet. I have had a persistant cough for the last couple days and my sinuses seem to be on overdrive. :-/

It didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. I just had my surgery on the 27th. Anyone else have a cough they can't shake? Know why/how to fix???

Getting sick totally took the wind out of my sails. Heading back to pillow city for a bit.
