How far are people walking and how often?

Mileand a half everyday. I'm going to bump it up to two miles after the weekend. And every other day I do a little bit of weight lifting.

So I'm two weeks out as of tomorrow, I'm down 17 pounds but I am not getting nearly enough food, or liquids. How did y'all push yourself further to reach recommended amounts

Enjoying my pureed tuna salad :)

feels great to get my staples out!

tried muscle milk on the way to the dr office.. ICKKKKK not sure how some of you stomach it…

I'm just so glad to not be eating… drinking those sweet shakes

Not every surgeon uses staples. Mine doesn't. He used glue which is nice because when the incisions heal the glue comes right off.

I am moving to puréed foods tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to transition? What are the best foods to start with or the worst?

Also' date=' if anyone has my fitness pal I would love for you to add me. My username is hek1127.

My incisions on my belly were glued instead of stapled... It's the couple holes they open on your stomach to get inside...

I am doing two long walks a day - about 20 minute walks, but long for me! I am 8 days post-op.

Ohh ok.... I guess I jus had a couple terry strips ok mine :)

They still have to cut you even tho it is laprascopic. 5-6 half to one inch incisions. That is what is glued or stapled after. :)

I had four incisions.

I just got back from my fourth walk! Feeling amazing.

Feeling so sick. Got in two 25 minute walks but less than one protein shake. Still burping the taste of soup I ate early yesterday. I am miserable. I also got sick after eating 1/3 a cup of a different soup today but no food actually came up. Any suggestions? Does it sound like I am blocked?

This kinda sucks... Only 6 days post op.
