Too much protein?

Hi all. I'm starting my liquid diet, and the protein shake I'm using has 30 grams per carton (11 oz). I'm drinking it three times a day, so I'm getting 90 oz of protein. Is that too much? Is there a such thing as too much protein? I will ask my nutritionist, but I can't get to her until tomorrow. Thanks!

They sold it in my hospital pharmacy... You might want to check with yours

I ju st ordered the sample kit and one tub of unflavored. Since my surgery is next Tuesday I want to have some unflavored powder to add to jello.

I asked my nutritionist yesterday if too much Protein is bad and she said too much can take a toll on your kidneys and told me to try not to go over 8oz more than I'm required.

My nutritionist told me the exact same thing.
