I am almost 6 weeks post op and still have leg pain in my thigh. Surgeon didnt really say much about it but I have a friend who is a neurologist and he said it sometimes happen to people after surgery. The reason is they strap u on the operating table and they make it very tight sometimes causing a little nerve damage. He told me it will most likely go away over time. I hope so because sometimes is a stabbing pain and sometimes it feels like my thigh is on fire.

I had leg pain so I got checked for blood clots but was nothing

I urge you to have your potassium checked! I was hospitalized or 4 days due to potassium deficiency and will tell you that the IV of potassium hurts like hell! You do not want to go thru this if you don't have to!

I also have had trouble with my pottassium level and have to take potassium taste bad its a tablet you dissolve in water but much better then liquid or in IV cause that burns very bad

I'm 4 months out and I have sporadic pain on my right thigh too. It's suppose to go away over time.

Agreed! The pain caused by the IV potassium brought tears to my eyes.

I too had leg pain in my right leg after surgery. Fir a few weeks. The Dr wasnt worried at all.

He says it happens.

Someone else also told me it happens when youre under and they strap you too tightly or something like that, damaging a nerve.
