I'm 4 months out and I have sporadic pain on my right thigh too. It's suppose to go away over time.

I was more nervous that my insurance was going to deny me. Everything was surreal. I felt like a little kid opening gifts during Christmas, once I found out I was approved. It's a life changing surgery and I waited 10 yrs to have it.

I hope you get an answer on Friday. I found out I was approved for surgery before the bariatric coordinator did. Keep us posted.

Welcome! I have my first post op follow up with the surgeon tomorrow. I should be getting my drain out as well. The only complication I'm experiencing is merlagia parasthetica on my right thigh. Where in Tx are you having your surgery?

I was discharged from the hospital yesterday and I've been having a tingling sensation in my upper right thigh Friday night. Today my thigh is swollen and I still have a tingling sensation. Has anybody experienced this? I called the surgeon on call this a/m and he said as long as it wasn't red- not to worry about it but see my surgeon tomorrow. He's never had a patient experience with what I'm going through. I hope it's not a blood clot!

6 month weigh in with the nutritionist Psychiatry evaluation Pulmonary testing Cardiac Clearance- Stress Test, Echo, EKG and Nuclear Stress Test 2 sleep studies- not recommended by surgeon but by PCP. Hematologist- monthly B-12 injections

Feb 6th is my date. Very nervous! Good luck to all having surgery in February!

I am feeling the same way too, but I try and think of all the positive benefits afterwards. The first five days on liquids, I had multiple nightmares. I dreamt about every horror killer there is. It was probably related to stress, anxiety & saying good bye to big portions of good food. I'm a little better now and excited that surgery is next week.
