So I had my bypass Tuesday and came home yesterday. I'm in quite a bit of pain not only my stomach, but my back as well. How long does all this pain last? I'm also a bit light headed and still have much gas that won't pass. Is this normal?

just make sure you take your pain pills and plenty of water as much as your doctor say you can have. your back may hurt for a few more days. as far as gas ask your doctor to give you something for your gas but it's always best to pass it. make sure you do your walking like they say cause walking do help you pass gas.
