Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

You all it will be over before you know it. You will be nervous, we all were but this is one of the best things we get to have that second chance. Remember just take skew deep breaths, sip water when you are able to and start walking after that catheter is out.

Lets promise to touch base after surgery so we can laugh at how scared we were and how happy we r that we did it! (I hope! lol)

How are you feeling did you make it home after all the snow

Made it home, I'm doing well. I did not sleep good last night due to the cat being a real jerk. I'm sore and only have one bruise so far. I have forgotten to user my legs once getting up from my computer desk so OUCH. But the pain is nothing compared to all if my other surgeries. I'm eating, not getting in all my protein, doing well with the water. You haven't had yours yet?

I also had alot of surgerys so im not nervous about the pain im worried about eating after

Im glad the dr let you go thru with it today update us as soon as possible

The hospital just called me and got all my info count down mode im kinda glad I got to work tonight keep my mind off of it

Krystal you are gonna be fine just like the rest of us! You've worked so hard to get here, don't let your ridiculous husband influence you that much. We are all here for you and we will continue to be your support system. You can do this!
