Is it too early to start an April thread? I didn't see one yet.

I'm scheduled for April 22. I still have to finish PCP clearance and psych then insurance approval but don't anticipate any problems. Once I started my appointments the excitement and anxiety kicked in. I started 6 month supervised diet in August....this used to seem so far away and like a vague idea but its so real now. My anxiety is double as my husband's date is march 18 and I worry a lot more about him than myself. How are all the other April folks doing?

I just signed up for the color run in july its a 5k hopefully I can do it

Praying for everyone having surgery today. April is sure starting to go fast

Woke up this morning with a sore throat. For the last two months, I have bee sick on and off. A cold front came in last night so I imagine that's why my throat is sore.... do you think I will have to push back my surgery?

I didn't need the PFT for clearance i had to go to the pulm. Because of the nodule on my lung

Yea I definitely understand that. I just meant they will be able to figure it out from the pft.

Good luck to all new surgeries today and good headings thoughts for all of the new people sitting on the losers bench! Surgery in 5 days!! Had pre-op yesterday. All is good and I lost 12lbs on my liquid diet over the past 2 weeks! It is VERY manageable and when you keep looking forward to what our goals are, it makes it easier. It is also a great help seeing everyone else that is on the same journey. Stay strong and keep strong. WE can do it!

I'm going in April 23rd!!! My doc said I will be on a liquid diet for 3 weeks after surgury and not to eat anything else until I see him. Any suggestions as to the groceries I need to stock up on? What to pack as well
