If you want a bar that's high in protein, low in carbs, your best bet is an Atkins bar. As they are part of the low-carb movement, they will have no sugar (assuming that's what made you dump)

I was the pure protein bar person

Also power crunch bars also think thin bars have no sugar 20 grams protein. Did the pure protein bar make you sick? I can only eat half bar.

So after my 1 month check up, I gave myself 2 weeks to try getting the protein in without shakes....I'm barely making it about 1/2 the time and not there the other 1/2....and I've lost like 1 1/2 pounds during those 2 weeks....so darn it, I'm back to a shake a day starting tomorrow. Grumble grumble grumble. Hate those darn things!!!!!!

That's amazing!!! Congratulations!

So how did everybody do this Easter?

I made baskets for the kids and sampled one jelly bean... otherwise there was no desire nor temptation even though the office was full of treats!

I did have one jelly bean and one little chocolate egg and didn't feel the need to try anything else. That's a huge change for me. And frankly, the tiny little egg wasn't all that great.

I had a moment this morning....I always knew my tomach' date=' thighs, and noobs were screwed and destined to flap in the breeze. I thought my arms were gonna be okay. I was blow drying my hair with my skivvies on (bra and panties) and realized I actually have a bit of muscle in my upper arms!!! Then realized, oh shit, there's some major flapping going on underneath....craptastic!!! I'm going to be a freaking shar pei, fabulous.

Shar pei!! I love it! You gave me a smile this am.

Sitting here slurping broth off chicken noodle soup...my grungy germ infested 8 year old shared his GI bug with me....gotta figure out how to get even....
