OMG THE ITCH!

At first I tried ignoring the itch but now I'm getting like a cluster of little red bumps on my arm and im itching everywhere! I don't take any pain meds whatsoever and its driving me crazy >_< is this normal? Anyone else have this?

  • No thank god, the doctor said it happens when people go under anesthesia. I was like that with both my c-sections , the rny was the worse because of how long I was under.

I only used them while I was in the hospital and now I'm a little over 3 weeks and just noticed this about a week ago.

I start having itching in the inside and outside of my stomach 3 weeks after surgery I was told my scars were healing.. I know how you feel irritated!

yessssss! lol my stomach was the first thing that started itching and then it just started to spread

nope nothing new...I'm stuck lol I guess I'll just have to deal with it

Same thing here. Started two weeks out... Still have it at 8 weeks out. Docs can't explain it.. Just gave me steroid cream which doesn't help.

wooow that's crazy! I read somewhere on here about benedryl(sp) have you tried that? I'm thinking about getting some if it doesn't subside

That's what the doctor gave me in the hospital good ol benedryl . I was going crazy itching, I think my nurse gave me that more than the pain meds lol

Someone in my support group is covered in this. Turns out she was having a reaction to her Vitamins. Could that be it??

you know I thought about that too...it definitely could be!!

I started the vitamins before surgery, and this didn't start until after. So I don't think that's it for me.
