It will have been 6 months since my surgery on February 6,2013 and my hair is falling out like CRAZY. I know some loss is to be expected, but this is drastic. I take vitamin B1 thiamin. Is there anything else I can do??????

While sitting in the doctor's office, waiting to visit with the dietitian, there was a magazine that I was looking through and it had an article regarding hair loss, three of the major issues that cause hair loss is #1. Not enough protein, #2 stress and #3 heredity. Bypass surgery definitely causes two of them, not enough protein and the stress of the surgery plus all the worry it puts you through.
