March Surgery Dates

I've seen topics where members having surgery in the same month have kinda banded together to offer support and encouragement to one another. I think this is a wonderful idea, and I'd like to see if there's anyone having surgery in March that would like to support one another.

I have a tentative date for the second or third week in March. I have UHC through Georgia Pacific and they use BRS for approvals. I don't expect any delays, nor does my surgeon's office, so she saved me a spot, so to speak, lol.

Tonight I have my psyc eval, and Monday is my information class, I have two more visits, 2/5 and 3/5 of my six month supervised diet, and on March 5th when I leave my PCP's office, I'll take my worksheet to the surgeon and we'll submit to insurance. That's where I'm at!

I'd love to talk with others that are looking at the same time frame as me!! :D

Loretta I completely understand. I have not packed either. But have done my nails' date=' laundry, cleaned and shopped for ANYTHING I could think of that I would need to eat coming home. I will be coming home on soft pureed food. Which I guess should be happy about. I am so excited and inI awe, but ready. Took my god awful pictures for comparison tonight. Oh my lol! Good luck Loretta and I will post before and after surgery!!![/quote']

I'm still not sure what to pack.. I just want to pass out at home be taken to the hospital then brought home after its all said and done--

I guess the reality of two days is finally setting in? I did buy some gasx strips since I've seen posts about the bloating, and the doc gave me a script for milk of magnesia. Great bloated and full of crap just want I didn't need after the two week diet!

I'm 5' 1&1/2"

Do not forget Chapstick!!! I always dry out~ I'm planning that for sure!

Good luck tomorrow to everyone y'all are in my thoughts n prayers

I'm new to this forum and wanted to joing the March group! I had surgery on March 20. So far things are going great!

For all the nervous people - my experience was so un-nerve racking leading up. I walked in to the operating room, chatted with the anesthesiologist, the surgeon. Luckily I felt relaxed and I think it really helped me. Just take a few breaths and know that everything will be great!
