9 days post op & really nauseous

I cant drink the amt of water I'm supposed to because every time I take a sip I feel sick. STILL on clear liquids. I go to the dr tomorrow for 1st followup and to get this pump out. I've been fine up until this point. Think it could be because there's just nothing in my stomach as far as food goes or what? Has this happened to anyone else? Suggestions?

If your pouch is dry it can cause nausea. If you don't drink this early out you will get dehydrated. I know it happened to me. You have to do your best and fight through the nausea. Maybe your surgeon can give you a prescription of zofran

I have a prescription for phinergan, I just took a dose. I hope it kicks in soon. Then maybe I can drink more. :/

I was very nauseous in the beginning. I still get it but not as much. DR said I just have a more sensitive stomac. Uggg..

First 2 weeks were not easy for me. Even though I've dumped twice, 3ed week has been much better! Hang in there!

have you tried to drink it with crystal light? I couldnt drink water either and I'm only 5 days out and I was really feeling sick but I knew it was bc I wasn't drinking but I tried cl today and I drank the whole 32oz!
