  1. Glad to hear everyone is doing well pre and post surgery. Mine was done on march 2 and I stepped on the scale for the 1st time since the surgery and I'm down 9lbs!!! 9lbs in a little over a week! It's amazing! All this "fighting" I have been doing with my head when it's saying "you're hungry Theresa, it's time to eat" is paying off and it feels great! I'm doing super on the full liquid diet and can't wait so see what's in store! Well wishes to all!
  2. Stevie... I can't feel my port either.
  3. Oh no, heart burn is no good! I've always had it, but since the banding I've been lucky enough to not have toi deal with it. I'm SURE it'll be back soon, I'm not THAT lucky! Lol. What are yu taking for the heartburn???
  4. Coilygirl my surgery was March 2nd as well, and my port area is just as sore. Not so much heavy, just painful. Hope it gets better for us. Good luck on your journey!
  5. I had my surgery on March 2nd, and I'm just curious... I have 5 incisions, a long one by the belly button... And I can't figure out where my port is. Idk if I still can't see it because of the swelling, but is it on the right? Left? Top? Bottom? Just wondering.
  6. My surgery was on March 2nd, I'm having lots of gas issues as well. Just been walking, walking, walking. Congrats on the new you!. It's exciting!
  7. Hi all! Tomorrow is the big day for me! This magnesium citrate is causing the worst heartburn ever, though. Good luck to everyone!
  8. I said female issues as well!
  9. Hi ALL! I am so excited to be on here and see all these incredible stories of weight loss! In July I had my 1st appointment, my insurance only requires 3 visits. Since I was just on the border of being eligible due to my height of 5'7" the dr was on a mission to find 2 co-morbites. So he concluded that I have high cholesterol and I just found out yesterday, after taking the sleep apnea test on friday that I do in fact have a mild case of sleep apnea! Which in a way is great news, because now I have my 2 co-morbites! I am soooo excited about this. I have one more Dr's visit left, a physical therapy visit, a psychologist visit, and a visit with the surgeon. They are saying they are pretty sure I can be on the schedule before the end of the year!!!!:smile2: Anyone have any tips, pointers, advice for a newbie like me??
