Stopped taking nexium....

Just put the two together that I've been feeling nauseous and having some stomach discomfort for the paddy week and so half....I stopped taking my nexium 2 weeks ago.....dr said ok if I had no issues.....have not had any issues since surgery 6 months ago so I thought I'd be fine. Did this cause issues for anyone else???? I think I'm starting my pill back in the morning.

I ran out and fiqured I would be fine, but for two weeks I had a lot of discomfort and pain so I called my doctor and he got me another prescription. As soon as I started taking it again the pain stopped. I'm almost 6 months out and I don't plan on stopping it again any time soon.

I stopped taking Prilosec a month ago and thought I'd be fine 4 months post op. my surgeon says 4 months unless advised. So I stopped never had an issue and after I was always nauseous and felt nasty from being nauseous. So I started back on my own and have been a ok since ill try again in one month for 6 months post

I will take this stuff forever if I have to....been back on it for 3 days and feel like myself again.

I agree will take this forever. I was on it for acid reflux before surgery and now on a different versiion protonix or something like that, twice a day and I think it really does make a difference.
