on my way

Hi friends. I am on my way to the hospital right now and I'm a little nervous. Prayers and good thoughts needed. I'm getting revision from Lapland to gastric bypass.

Thank you for all your prayers and warm thoughts. I am 1 day post op and thank God I don't have a drainage tube instead of 5 incisions I only got 4. I was feeling better yesterday after surgery but today I'm in a little bit more pain and have nausea. Again thank you for your thoughts and prayers

Once you move off the heavy pain meds you'll start to feel better. Each day gets better!

thank you worm2872... im feeling better right now hopefully going home today

i actually have experienced more pain 2.5 weeks post op than i did in the hospital - and that is because i had excellent pain management in the hospital. i stopped the painkiller (lortab) 2.5 weeks post op - and that was a mistake. but i wanted to get off the lortab because it makes my thinking cloudy.

i wish everyone success! i remain grateful to everyone on this forum who has shared experiences. i am trying to share mine to make a contribution back to the community

my advice is: keep taking your pain medication. now i know why my surgeon gave me 3 refills on the lortab
