I had cookie dough two nights ago. I totally get the food addiction thing. I know that having the rny will help with that. We will make it through.

Why is it so hard. I just don't want to be hungry anymore.

I survived day 8. I have not cheated once.. For the first time eve on a diet! Whew... Still have 7 more days of liquid until 20th surgery. Water, shakes, water, shakes, and a powdered Soup. I can do it. I will do it. But yup... It's hard!

its crazy cause i dont even cheat cause im hungry. i think i am just an emotional eater. The good thing is i didnt cheat by scarfing down a burger. I ate fish that was lightly breaded or something small. lol. I think the first two days are so hard because your fighting hunger/ your body flippin out/ and your bad habbits. Then it gets wayyyy easier... anyone reading whose going to do the liquid diet. just because you stuck to your diet the first few days dont cheat!!!!!! it will set you back and everyday will feel like the first two days. it does get easier.

Omg yes I hate this phase I'm almost finished with post op phase 1 it's sucks can't eat nothing just liquid but u don't feel hungry it's just a mental thing physically your not hungry I had the vertical sleeve on the 26 of November and the day of surgery I was 310 and know I'm 289.6 and today is December 13th so I've lost some weight and fast it's so worth it but mentally challenging.

Finished Day 9... As of this morning I have lost 15 pounds!! I really want to stick with it so I have a big jump start on the weight I want to use and I get used to changing my eating habits. Whew.. Onto day 10. Can't believe surgery is next week!

Congrats girlie. What major accomplishment.

Can I have jello on preop diet

Depends on your surgeon. My doctor has me on a strict prescription liquid diet.. Optifast.. For 2 weeks pre op. he specifically says no food except for these shakes. I'm finishing up Day 10. I would go nuts for some Jello right about now!

Omg I just started and I'm hungry. I don't trajectory class.on what to eat until monday. Ironically I had to start my preop diet today. So im confused.. what can I have besides water and protein shakes?

If your surgeon wasn't specific, maybe he is okay with liquids and broths and sugar free products. Hang in there and start guzzling Water. I stay full as long as I drink tons of water. Hang in there! I weigh myself every morning and that keeps me motivated! I've lost 16 pounds in 10 days! Feels good. Hopefully you will be all cleared up on Monday. Good luck. When is your surgery? Mines Thursday!

Good luck I'm right after you on Wednesday

What kind of powdered soup can you have?
